Grammy award-winner Sheryl Crow recently announced that she has been diagnosed with a common form of brain tumor called a meningioma.
The 50-year-old released the news on Monday night (June 4) to a Las Vegas reporter, but thankfully, the tumor is benign.
“I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor," Crow told Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Doug Elfman.
"And I was, like, 'See? I knew there was something wrong,'" she joked. "I haven't really talked about it...But it's benign, so I don't have to worry about it. But it gives me a fit."
A rep for the singer added , “"[Crow] has no symptoms and everything is fine. It was a random mention during the [Vegas] interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone. She is doing great and is healthy and happy."
