Kristen Stewart: Home, Sweet Home

Fresh off of a long flight around the globe, Kristen Stewart was spotted arriving at LAX Airport in Los Angeles today (June 21).


The Bella Swan beauty was mobbed by fans and photographers as she made her way out fo the international terminal after flying in from Australia following her "Snow White and the Huntsman" promotions.




As for her post-Twilight career, Kristen recently revealed that she still hasn't ruled out a role in the much-talked-about "Fifty Shades Of Grey" production.


Asked if she's considering the still up for grabs character of Anastasia Steele, Stewart replied, "I don't know yet, I haven't finished reading the book."


Meanwhile, Emma Roberts is among the other ladies eyeing the lead in the EL James book based film.

Forbes just released their list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. Surprisingly, Kristen Stewart topped it. Turns out lip-biting and chronic constipation were in high demand last year. Most of her earnings (around $34.5M) were from Twilight but Snow White and the Huntsmen helped edge her past Cameron Diaz who made $34M. The full list below.

Kristen Stewart Covers Vanity Fair July 2012

With her new movie "Snow White and the Huntsman" having just hit theaters on June 1st, Kristen Stewart garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the July 2012 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

The 21-year-old actress looked enchanting for the Mario Testino shot front page while dishing about everything from being criticized to her past fashion struggles.

On being criticized:
“I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph,. I get some serious **** about it. I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like **** in half my photos, and I don’t give a ****. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, ‘She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.’ I don’t care about the voracious, starving **** eaters who want to turn truth into ****. Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!”

Robert Pattinson on Kristen struggling with the public’s preconceived notions about her personality:
“People have decided how they are going to perceive her. No matter how many times she smiles, they’ll put in the one picture where she’s not smiling.”

On her past fasion issues:
“Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother’s clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn’t wearing Juicy jeans. I didn’t even think about it. I wore my gym clothes. But it’s not like I didn’t care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, ‘Oh my God! That’s disgusting—you don’t shave your legs!”

On realizing that Twilight had changed her life:
“You can Google my name and one of the first things that comes up is images of me sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe with my ex-boyfriend and my dog. It was [taken] the day the movie came out. I was no one. I was a kid. I had just turned 18. In [the tabloids] the next day it was like I was a delinquent slimy idiot, whereas I’m kind of a weirdo, creative Valley Girl who smokes pot. Big deal. But that changed my daily life instantly. I didn’t go out in my underwear anymore.”

Who Will Kristen Stewart Sit Next To At Movie Awards?

We're psyched about all the stars who will be in attendance at the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday, but all that mega-wattage means producers had the tricky task of seating everyone in the audience of the Gibson Amphitheater. It's a job that many would consider quite daunting, but those in charge were up to the challenge.


Needless to say, "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart is going to be sitting front and center during the ceremony. Nearby will be the "Magic Mike" crew, who we assume will spend the show spontaneously grinding against every woman who walks by. (Let us dream, people!) And keep an eye out for Michael Fassbender and his two seats. MTV News' Jim Cantiello, who shows off the celebrity seating arrangements, has quite the theory as to who (or what) will be the "Shame" star's plus one.


Jim also was kind enough to give us a tour of the Gibson Amphitheater as it was in the process of being given a makeover for this Sunday's awards show. Unfortunately, the producers of the show wouldn't let him hang out for very long, so he had to give us the quick and dirty version. And...

Kristen Stewart Quits Smoking, Learns French

'Snow White and the Huntsman' star says she learned to speak French during shooting for 'On the Road' in our exclusive Sneak Peek Week chat.

    

Kristen Stewart helped MTV News kick off our Sneak Peek Week in style when she and "Snow White and the Huntsman" co-star Sam Claflin joined our own Josh Horowitz for a fun-filled chat Tuesday night, during which she revealed that not only is she learning French, she's also recently given up a very bad habit.

The "Twilight" starlet decided to learn the foreign language while filming the much-anticipated adaptation of Jack Kerouac's beat generation classic "On the Road," which just premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

"On 'On the Road,' everyone spoke French. We were primarily in Montreal," Stewart told MTV News. "I spent so much time ... and I was just, like, feeling so pathetic. Not only is it a very dope language, it's more like I really want to be able to talk to a few people so badly."

And while her coolness has never been in question, the busy actress apparently felt a little insecure about her cred while trekking around Paris unable to speak the language. "When I'm in Paris, I feel like I could be so much [cooler]. I'm like, 'Wow, I could be so cool.' So that's the main inspiration," she said.

When chastised about one Parisian habit she adopted a while back, smoking cigarettes, Stewart was quick to reveal that she has apparently given it up — though she didn't want to talk too much about her health-conscious move for fear of jinxing herself.

"You can't acknowledge it or else suddenly ... you can't think about it," the slightly rattled actress confessed amid a loud round of applause for her achievement.

Stewart will take the stage with her "Huntsman" co-stars Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth as presenters at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. "Huntsman," which hits theaters Friday, kicked off our MTV Sneak Peek Week, which will also include exclusive peeks at some of the summer's hottest films, from "That's My Boy" (Wednesday) and "Magic Mike" (Thursday) to "Rock of Ages" (Friday), as well as nightly chats with their casts live from the 5 Towers on Universal CityWalk. Continuing to log those frequent flyer miles, Kristen Stewart was spotted arriving for a flight out of JFK Airport in New York City this afternoon (June 1).

Fully immersed in the denim trend, the "Snow White and the Huntsman" lady donned a jean-inspired top, white tee, light wash pant and black sneakers as she readied her departure.


During recent press duties for her new film, K Stew called co-star Charlize a bit intimidating at first, as she explained, "We have such completely opposite energies. I mean, I cannot begin to describe to you. I was very curious initially how that was going to go."

Kristen male castmate Sam Clafin also agreed, telling, "I didn't cross paths with her too much in the film. However, pretty much everytime that she walked on set she kind of had this presence—the Charlize Theron, I call it now. She's a very strong-willed, independent woman."

Gearing up for a busy day of promotional appearances, Kristen Stewart was spotted out in New York City this morning (May 31).

The “Adventureland” actress looked lovely in a green and gray dress as she prepared for her interview on "The Today Show" to plug her new movie “Snow White and the Huntsman.”


In a recent interview, Kristen talked about the public’s perception that she’s trying to ditch her Bella Swan persona by taking different movie roles.

She explained, "People are going to think that it's me trying to either distance myself from 'Twilight' or try to prove myself beyond it or whatever. But it's [just] good timing. I think it's all fallen off the truck in a really lucky way. But it's totally not my doing."
