Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eminem, Tupac hologram end Week 1
It's tempting to say up front that Tupac Shakur stole the show on Sunday night when his likeness appeared alongside Snoop Dogg andDr. Dre to cap off the first weekend of Coachella, but that would just be for a cheap laugh. Making a "cameo" as a hologram projected onto the stage and the jumbo screens above, the late Los Angeles rap icon was the least dynamic of the parade of rappers young and old who held the mike.
But in his defense, he was just a hologram.
Already in the set,Dr. Dre, who put Los Angeles rap on the map in the late 1980s when he and his peers in N.W.A burst out of Compton to help invent gangsta rap, had stood alongside his one-time protege Snoop Dogg (nee Snoop Doggy Dogg) to offer sing-along anthem after sing-along anthem, each one a 1990s ode to Southern California living and rapped in unison by tens of thousands.
They'd swapped hits to a crowd who grew up with them, and did so with 20 years of friendship and collaboration between them, so that when they traded lines it was like they were finishing each other's sentences. And, in a sense, they were: The 1991 classic "Deep Cover" was Dr. Dre's first post-N.W.A release and it featured Snoop's first-ever appearance on record.
Escape for Less. We've got some amazing cruise deals and they're just a click away
It's hard sometimes to remember how strange and wily Snoop's first recorded rhymes were: they slithered through Dre's G-funk beats with a laid-back grace that was the polar opposite of the aggrieved New York style of the time as put forward by Public Enemy, LL Cool J and Brand Nubian. Snoop's flow was as immediately recognizable as Dre's beats, and it's one reason why he's remained relevant for two decades.
Those rhythms were at the center of the night, of course, and were highlighted through cameos that illustrated the breadth of Dre's sounds. Young weed-rapper Wiz Khalifa came out to join Snoop for "Young, Wild, and Free" -- and share a joint the size of a Sharpie -- and Compton lyricist and MC Kendrick Lamar stood alongside Dre for "The Recipe," Lamar's new cut produced by Dre.
New York rapper 50 Cent arrived to do bits of his early classics -- "Wanksta," "P.I.M.P." and "In Da Club" -- and the masses were enthusiastic and welcoming to our East Coast guest. Eminem waltzed out casually, his hoodie pulled up, to salute Dre's work with some verses -- the best of which was a snippet of "Forgot About Dre," a Dre track from 2001. Snoop and Dre honored the late singer Nate Dogg, the soulful singer who provided hooks on some of G-funk's classic jams as well.
The Tupac hologram? A red herring, unnecessary and ill advised. His abs still looked great, it's true, and there was a certain spring in his step as he and (the living) Snoop rapped their collaboration "2 of Americaz Most Wanted." But when the hologram rhymed the line, "my intention's to get richer," well, we know how that ended up.
Regardless, Dre and Snoop closed Coachella 2012, Part 1 on a high note (no pun intended), and delivered the California vibe to a lot of its happy citizens and visitors.

Selena Gomez:Gone But Not Forgotten
The teen pop star turned heads and created traffic jams when she was in town to make 'Spring Breakers.' She even spent a day in Gulfport. As suddenly as she arrived, the young celebrity and her film crew split.
Selena Gomez is gone from southwest Florida, Gulfport and the beaches. But she made quite an impact while she and the crew from "Spring Breakers" shot the crime caper, including some scenes at the Gulfport police station.
Selena and her young co-stars practically lived in their bikinis while here. Could that have contributed to the attention?
The celebs rode pastel-colored scooters, displayed buff bods and generally created a stir, wherever they went, from Gulfport to the Gulf Coast beaches.
Selena Gomez's' Teen Vogue 2012 Shoot
Selena Gomez has wrapped up her "Spring Breakers" movie and is busy with her next film, but the 19-year old still has time for a fashion shoot with Teen Vogue.
Even with her music career on hold, the former Disney princess is ready to make waves in the fashion industry and she's starting off with her own new "scent-sational" perfume.
Her fans have seen her evolve from the awkward teenager alongside her BFF in real life, Demi Lovato in, "Princess Protection Program" to the witty and hilarious witch on "Wizards of Waverly Place". Her music continues to inspire hoards of teenagers around the world and while she's at it, she's unconsciously capturing hearts with her no-fuss looks.
With her own fashion line started, an equally talented and charming boyfriend at hand, Selena still manages to make time for her fans that she enthusiastically tags along at the New York Skyscraper for the creation of her new perfume.
"I have three favorite smells in the world: raspberry, vanilla, and freesia," says the 19-year old all the while taking a whiff off the testers of each fragrance.
"Vanilla just makes me feel cozy and yummy. Raspberry is fun without being too sweet. I love how feminine freesia is. It was important to me that anyone who smelled it found it enticing. I wanted it to be absolutely kissable," exclaims Selena to which she adds with a coy remark, "Well, it's not like I'm kissing myself."
It has been more than a year ago when Selena started concocting her own fragrance line, and over the course of six months she has narrowed it down to three. Now, the singer has finally released her Eau de Perfum with the same name. It has the sweet and fruity scent enough to make Justin Bieber fall head over heels.
The actual mix is composed of raspberry, freesia and vanilla. Even the perfume's bottle has a touch of flirty. The long, purple bottle is capped off with a golden cap with kisses literally bursting out of it.
Selena Gomez is definitely making her way to the top. So to top it all off: Music career - check, Film projects - check, a super hot and talented boyfriend - check. And now, her own fragrance, what more could Selena Gomez ask for?

Selena's Name Alive Via Tribute Album
Selena Gomez was "extremely honored" to "duet" with slain Tejano singer Selena on a new posthumous tribute album because the late star has been a "big influence" throughout her life.
The Disney sensation, who was just two years old when the entertainer was gunned down by an overzealous fan in 1995, was named after Selena Quintanilla-Perez.
Gomez performs her idol's 1994 hit "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom" for new compilation album "Enamorada de Ti," and she tells E! News, "I'm keeping her name alive."
The teen star spoke on the phone to Selena's father, Abraham Quintanilla Jr., during the recording session for the track and was overjoyed when he told her, "I want to thank you for participating in this project."
She replied, "I'm extremely honoured that you thought of me for this."
Lady Gaga, Eminem, Justin Timberlake Take Home Emmys
A number of the music industry's biggest names took home some prizes over the weekend. No, you didn't miss some big music awards show. Instead, the likes of Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and Eminem won Creative Arts Emmy Awards for their recent work on various television projects.
Timberlake took home two Emmys: one for guest-hosting "Saturday Night Live" and another for co-writing the lyrics to his monologue song from the show, according to The New York Times. Timberlake previously won four Emmys for his work on the hit sketch comedy show.
Gwyneth Paltrow took home an Emmy for her guest-starring role on "Glee." The Chrysler 200 commercial starring Eminem also took home an Emmy, according to Allhiphop.com. The commercial, titled "Born of Fire," features the Detroit-born rapper driving through his hometown while his track "Lose Yourself" plays in the background.
"We were very surprised," Aaron Allen, the creative director at Wieden + Kennedy, the ad agency that created the commercial, said. "We really wanted to win but wondered if humor would win instead."
HBO's drama "Boardwalk Empire" was the big winner at Saturday night's Emmy ceremony. The show took home seven awards including art direction, editing, sound editing and visual effects.
HBO also took home awards for "Mildred Pierce," the Lady Gaga Monster Ball concert special that aired earlier this year and the children's program called "A Child's Garden of Poetry."
The Creative Arts Emmy show will air on the ReelzChannel on Saturday. The prime-time Emmys will take place Sunday in Los Angeles.
Eminem's 'Southpaw' Boxing Movie Back On Track
Talk about an epic battle. Eminem has been circling the gritty boxing drama "Southpaw" for more than a year now. But it seemed like the rapper's second feature film was down for the count when its original distributor, DreamWorks, shelved it in August.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the scrappy tale of a welterweight boxer who becomes a champ despite being a lefty has gotten off the mat and is back in contention.
Sony Pictures Entertainment has picked up the flick, which would be Marshall Mathers' first major movie role since his acclaimed debut in the semi-autobiographical 2002 drama "8 Mile." The movie is expected to start production early next year and will be directed by Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day"), from a script written by Em and "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter.
Like "8 Mile," Eminem says the tale is a parallel to his own life: the story of a boxer who rises to the top only to see tragedy strike, forcing him to mount a personal and professional comeback. Em famously reached the pinnacle of rap fame in the early 2000s, only to fall into a nearly fatal spiral of drug addiction, which he later snapped, getting clean and releasing a triumphant comeback album, Recovery, in 2010.
Eminem has done a few cameos since "8 Mile," including the Adam Sandler movie "Funny People" and HBO's "Entourage," but has not headlined a movie since his screen debut.
He was recently named a "God of Rock' by GQ magazine, which put him on the cover alongside Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and Lil Wayne.
"I've realized that the way I am helps with the music," he said about the natural personality quirks that fuel his music. "Sporadic thoughts will pop into my head, and I'll have to go write something down, and the next thing you know, I've written a whole song in an hour. But sometimes it sucks, and I wish I was wired like a regular person and could go have a f---in' drink. But that's the biggest thing about addiction: When you realize that you cannot — for f---'s sake, you cannot — f--- around with nothing ever again."

Eminem, Yelawolf Tackle Race, Drugs In New Interview
As I was listening to his music, I am not even thinking about any of that,' Eminem tells Vibe about working with Yelawolf.
Eminem wasn't the first-ever white rapper, but when Slim Shady kicked in hip-hop's doors in 1999, he was still an anomaly. In 2011, Yelawolf doesn't have quite the same difficulty, as the white rapper stigma, for the most part, has subsided. It's a topic that Em and Yela discuss in the December/January issue of Vibe magazine.
In the magazine's cover story, Eminem tells veteran writer Erik Parker that he and Wolf, who Em signed to Shady Records earlier this year, hardly consider race while in the studio. "We make jokes about it, but I don't think we talk about it in depth," he said. "As I was listening to his music, I am not even thinking about any of that sh--. It's just the music. That's one of the things that's great about it. I'm not even thinking about it when I hear the music."
They did make light of it in the studio, however. "We do poke fun of it because it's funny. Like, he calls me White Dog," Yela said.
"Yeah, or Beige Sheep," Em joked.
Growing up in Alabama, Yela learned a lot about race relations, especially as it pertains to hip-hop culture. And while a rapper like Kreayshawn affiliate V-Nasty may feel comfortable dropping the N-word, Wolf insists that that is a no-no. "[In Alabama] we have a dark history concerning the relationship between black and white people. I'm not a role model by any means, but if I said it around the house, I got popped in the mouth," he said.
Eminem insists that race is secondary to music. "We deal with it enough as it is. So now, let's make music," Eminem said.
"Let's make great records. At the end of the day, that's all there is to do," Yela, whose debut album, Radioactive, hits shelves November 21, added.
When the topic of drugs came up, a clean and sober Em joked that he recently shot heroin, making light of a situation that he had previously taken so seriously. That opened the door for Yela to talk about his own experience with narcotics.
"I started smoking weed at 11. By 12, I was smoking dust. Thirteen, acid, Freon, Special K, mushrooms; 16 years old, I was selling X pills at school. Not even because I was a good dope boy, but because I was a scumbag," the tatted-up rapper revealed. "It was called chocolate chip, and it had heroin in it. I used to take that sh-- and go to class. I went so heavy into drugs that I had a bad trip one time that lasted for months."
The December/January issue of Vibe magazine hits newsstands nationwide on December 6
Eminem and 50 Cent |
50 Cent made a rare appearance in Austin, Texas on Friday night to perform his classic 2003 album Get Rich or Die Tryin' in its entirety, and fans who were hoping for that rumored Eminem performance were not the least bit disappointed.
The opening lineup at the SXSW Shady 2.0 Showcase included 50 Cent's new G-Unit artists Paris and Kidd Kidd, plus Action Bronson, Black Hippy's Schoolboy Q, Don Trip and Big K.R.I.T. Yelawolf was forced to cancel his appearance due to an injury but his fellow Shady Records signees, Slaughterhouse, took the stage before Fif dishing out freestyles, in addition to singles like "Hammer Dance" from their upcoming album welcome to: Our House.
50 Cent hit the stage shortly after 11pm, launching into "What Up Gangsta?" decked out in an appropriately nostalgic outfit--a camouflage bullet-proof best and Yankees cap.
Throughout the week there had been whispers of an Eminem guest appearance during Fif's set, and Marshall Mathers confirmed those rumors on the second song of the night. Fifty rolled right into "Patiently Waiting," spitting his first verse and within seconds Em burst onto the stage, delivering the hook and his verse, casually decked out in jeans a baseball cap and his signature hoodie.
At times, Fif's commentary during the show was just as entertaining as the actual songs. "It's been 10 years. That album sold 13 million copies," he told the crowd, marveling at the success of Get Rich or Die Tryin.' "The money came so fast, I couldn't f--- it up," he added, getting some laughs from the crowd. "I was trying everything I could think of."
Tony Yayo hung by Fif's side as the crowd continued to go wild for tracks like "Many Men," and "In Da Club." And although the Queens rapper was in great spirits, he still managed to get in a bit of a rant, taking aim at some of his critics. "I guess it's not what have I done, but what have I done for you lately, is that right?" he said, the annoyance evident on his face.
Still, Fif treated fans to a few more songs, including an encore performance and a freestyle over Eminem's "Till I Collapse," which commanded another Shady appearance on stage. "Wanksta" was the closing number of the night, and though fans stayed put, expectantly, for another few minutes, that was it folks.

Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Share A Dating 'Philosophy'
'If you're in love, you're in love to the fullest,' singer/actress tellsCosmopolitan.
Selena Gomez turns the big 2-0 later this year, and she seems to be leaving her tween image behind. The 19-year-old is the latest teen star to appear on the cover of Cosmopolitan, following last month's issue of the women's magazine, featuring 17-year-old Dakota Fanning.
For her first cover for the magazine, Gomez dons a low-cut, floral-print dress as she looks rather seductively into the camera. She's sitting with her one leg perched in front of her body, displaying a saucier side of herself than fans might be used to seeing.
Inside the issue, she's talking all about love, opening up about her longtime boyfriend, Justin Bieber. "I'm just like every 19-year-old girl," she said. "If you're in love, you're in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out, and be as normal as possible. I'm fortunate that I've found someone who has that philosophy."
In another Cosmo quote floating around online, Gomez dishes on a past boyfriend (Taylor Lautner? Nick Jonas?) who didn't make things as easy on her. "I was in a relationship previously where I had to hide everything and it wasn't my choice. I had to go through different exits and take separate cars and do the craziest things, and it just really wasn't worth it," she explained. "It was like a year of my life completely wasted."
The more mature magazine cover comes as Gomez prepares for the next phase of her career. In the coming weeks, she'll hit the set for her next film, the more adult-themed "Spring Breakers," which follows a group of college girls who rob a restaurant to pay for their spring break. When they land in jail, a drug and arms dealer bails them out, and they quickly become entangled with him and his business.
"It's a different character than I have ever played before," she told MTV News about the film, which will be directed by "Kids" mastermind Harmony Korine. "It's a different kind of vibe I think than people are used to seeing me in. What you're going to see is more raw, I think. It's going to be raw and more about acting."
What do you think about Selena's grown-up image? Let us know in the comments!
Selena Gomez Replaces Miley Cyrus In Adam Sandler Vampire Flick
It seems that the Disney girls have each other's backs. Miley Cyrus will no longer be able to voice a part in Adam Sandler's animated vampire flick, "Hotel Transylvania," and it seems that Selena Gomez has stepped up to the plate to fill in for her.
A rep for Sandler told E! News that the actress will play the part of Mavis, the vampire daughter of Dracula (Sandler). Dracula, who runs a resort of all the creepy folks in the world, gets worried when his teen daughter falls for a boy. E! reports that "Saturday Night Live" star Andy Samberg, singer and "The Voice" judge Cee Lo Green and Sandler's pal Kevin James also have sunk their teeth into roles in the film, expected to drop in September.
Back in November, an image of Mavis floating around showed the teen vamp with short black hair, sporting a little black dress with black-and-red striped tights. She rocks the look with red high-top sneakers.
Before she voices Mavis, Gomez will be on set for the much-more-mature "Spring Breakers," which follows a group of college girls who rob a restaurant to pay for their spring break. When they land in jail, a drug and arms dealer bails them out, and they quickly become entangled with him. "I'm really, really excited about it," Gomez said about the Harmony Korine-directed film.
"We have to say there's a lot to be excited about. It's a different character than I have ever played before," she added. "It's a different kind of vibe, I think, than people are used to seeing me in. What you're going to see is more raw, I think. It's going to be raw and more about acting."
Gomez will produce and most likely star in the big-screen adaptation of the Jandy Nelson novel "The Sky Is Everywhere." She's also rumored to be attached to a film called "Hot Mess."
As for Cyrus, she's got some big projects set for release this year. She's going to drop her college-set comedy "So Undercover" and the dramedy "LOL," co-starring Demi Moore and Ashley Greene.
Justin Bieber Opens Up About Kissing Selena Gomez Pop star also donates $100,000 to Las Vegas elementary school with help of 'Ellen' show.
Justin Bieber was enlisted by Ellen DeGeneres to help give back to Whitney Elementary, a Las Vegas school that helps underprivileged children. And in addition to donating $100,000 and $100,000 worth of toys, the always-charitable singer performed for the room full of Beliebers.
Bieber even answered some burning questions about his hair, his favorite color and his rise to fame. But, perhaps it was his response about his lady love, Selena Gomez, that had the room most giggly.
"What do me and Selena do on the weekends?" he pondered to the room full of school kids. "We go to the movies. And we kiss," he whispered, later laughing, "No, we don't do that." He answered a number of other of the kids' inquiries in a rather quick-fire round. "Do I miss home? Yes, very much," he said. "Cause I'm always traveling and I'm always away from a lot of my family and friends. So, it can be hard. But, once I get to go home and see my family, it's always a pleasure." Before leaving, he had these words of wisdom for the kids: "Be nice to each other and treat each other with respect and grow up to be people of character."
The episode aired Wednesday and when he chatted with the school's principal, Sherrie Gahn, he opened up about his own struggles growing up in Canada. "I'm here to bring a smile to these kids' faces. For me, I grew up and I didn't have a lot. We went to food banks to get food for me and my grandparents. Really, if I didn't have my grandparents to help me and these kids they have you to help them," he said. "And it's really special."

Selena Gomez - Selena Gomez 'Halting' Music Career
Selena Gomez has decided to halt her music career temporarily while she concentrates on acting.
Selena Gomez is pausing her music career while she concentrates on acting.
The 19-year-old ''Love You Like a Love Song' hitmaker - who recently wrapped filming on comedy 'Spring Breakers' - has decided to put her singing on the backburner while she makes a name for herself in Hollywood.
She explained: ''I'm just kind of halting music for a bit. [I've] been really focused on more acting.
''For me it's been fun to take risks and do things that are completely different. To be honest, maybe some of you guys might not be comfortable with it ... I'm still the same person. Things that challenge me really excite me.''
But that doesn't mean the former Disney star won't be reuniting with the other members of her band Selena Gomez & the Scene to create more music in the future.
She told MTV News: ''I'm doing another movie called 'The Getaway' with Ethan Hawke. It's really, really exciting. So we're doing that and then hopefully another movie, but that hasn't really been confirmed yet.
''Then I'll start working on my fourth album, which will be the best album I'll ever do!''

Selena Gomez to Haters: Bring It!
Due to her relationship with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez is not the most popular singer on the planet.
She's faced numerous death threats over the past year, in fact, with authorities actually getting involved at times due to the serious nature of the personal attacks.
But Selena is handling the pressure as best she can, never backing away from those who claims to love Justin, yet somehow also don't want him to be happy in his relationship. Latest case in point: check out a photo Gomez posted to Instagram on the set of her new film, Spring Breakers.
This isn't the first time Selena has addressed her critics. She said in an interview last year that the single "Who Says" was written "to the haters... to the people who try to bring you down."
As you can tell here, though, those people have failed miserably when it comes to Selena Gomez. You tell 'em, girl!
Selena Gomez to Get the Glee Treatment
Selenators and Gleeks, rejoice. Selena Gomez's hit song, "Love You Like a Love Song," will be featured on an upcoming episode of Glee, according to reports.
The Glee star taking on the infectious hit? Lea Michele!
The milestone event it appears in? The prom episode!
An E! source says the episode, written by Glee creator Ryan Murphy, filmed last week and Lea turned in "a really powerful performance" of the omnipresent radio single.
On April 4, for whatever it's worth, Michele tweeted, "Longest. Prom. Ever." More like best. Sounds like a can't miss addition to the Glee music library.
Justin Bieber: I'm 'Figuring Out' Love
Justin Bieber has taken his relationship with Selena Gomez public. And apparently, she’s helping him figure out what it means to love. I would vomit, but there’s nothing left after I saw that $6 million mansion he’s looking at.
“When you’re 13, that’s when you’re first trying to figure what it means—that’s kind of puppy love,” Justin says. “Now, being 18 and trying to figure out what it actually really means is a totally different story.”
I’ll tell you what it means. It means you promise someone you’re going to marry them, realize you’re freakin’ 18, and then go find yourself in Italy. And by “find yourself,” I mean hook up with a guy named Fabricio.
Justin just released his new single, Boyfriend, today, and it sounded like a huge leap from his usual teenybopper pop songs. It was very Justin Timberlake. Okay, maybe not a huge leap. Speaking on Elvis Duran’s NYC Z100 radio show, Justin said:
“I was younger and my voice was higher [on my old songs]. My music was geared to a younger audience. Now I’m broadening my audience. We wanted to show people that I can evolve.”
He also says swag like 100 times in the song. Justin told KIIS-FM host Ryan Seacrest:
"There's so many people that are going to give me opinions, but I'm the only one who can ultimately make those decisions, because I'm going to have to live with my career for the rest of my life. So I thought this was the perfect single. It was me all the way; it is a representation of me."

Report: Justin Bieber and Selena Got Drunk and Fought
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had a romantic weekend in Florida last week, and according to rumors, it ended with a booze-fueled fight. It’s good to be on top.
Photographers shot Selena and Justin leaving a St. Petersburg, FL sports bar along with two friends. In the pics, Selena tries to hide behind her iPhone and cover her eyes with her hand.
There is the possibility, however, that they didn’t want to be freakin’ bothered by photographers. But one witness said:
"Justin stormed out of the bar and Selena chased him to the car. His security team drove them down the street to an alley where they had a private conversation. They then returned to the restaurant and upon leaving they all seem like they had a little too much to drink even though they aren't old enough to drink."
The bar’s owner, Mark Ferguson, told the Tampa Bay Times that while Justin’s grandparents were there drinking, the others weren’t.
Another photo was released of Selena in her bikini top drinking from a paper bag. But no, she wasn’t getting wasted, it was a shot from her upcoming movie Spring Breakers.
Gomez plays a teen who loves to party and then robs a fast food restaurant to pay for her Florida vacation. Not exactly reminiscent of Wizards of Waverly Place.
Selena Gomez stars in the movie alongside Ashley Benson, who was also with Selena and Justin during the supposed booze-filled night in Florida.
Benson’s boyfriend, Ryan Good, accompanied them, and he left the restaurant with his shirt off. Benson and Good are over the legal drinking age, so it was just another Friday night for them.

Selena Gomez To Star In Action Flick With Ethan Hawke Gomez says she's 'halting music for a bit' to focus on acting.
Selena Gomez is done being a "Spring Breaker" and now she's getting ready to film her next movie. In an online video Q&A with her fans, she opened up about her edgier movie roles, including her next film with Ethan Hawke.
"I'm doing another movie called 'The Getaway' with Ethan Hawke. It's really, really exciting," she shared. "I go to Bulgaria and then I start filming. It's more of an action movie, which is also different. So we're doing that and then hopefully another movie, but that hasn't really been confirmed yet. Then I'll start working on my fourth album, which will be the best album I'll ever do! But I'm just kind of halting music for a bit."
She added that she's "been really focused on more acting. For me it's been fun to take risks and do things that are completely different. To be honest maybe some of you guys might not be comfortable with it. ... I'm still the same person. Things that challenge me really excite me."That focus includes the forthcoming Eli Roth thriller, "Aftershock," and the aforementioned "Spring Breakers." Gomez had only praise for that film's director, Harmony Korine ("Kids"). "He is such a brilliant director; he is so smart. He gave us direction but half the time he let us do our thing," she said. "He gave me this freedom, but he allowed me to prove myself. He's so great."
In addition to all the big-screen business, the actress and singer will also get the small-screen treatment on "Glee." According to E! News, in the prom episode, shot last week, Lea Michele reportedly sings Selena's track "Love You Like a Love Song." According to sources, the powerhouse vocalist put out "a really powerful performance" of Gomez's song.
